The Role
Our Dynamics 365 CRM system is a key strategic platform, and the CAA is seeking a developer to design and develop enhancements and new solutions.
You will join a team supporting the live production platform whilst working on new enhancements and work packages involving bespoke development, workflow, and configuration.
The team uses Scrum Agile methodology, working in sprints with regular deployments of new functionality approximately every four weeks. You will join an existing team of eight developers, alongside a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Testers.
You must have prior Microsoft Dynamics 365 development experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Code development experience is desirable but not essential.
Core Accountabilities
- Development and 3rd line support of custom Dynamics CRM solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement,
- Customisation of D365 module components such as Power Pages and power automate and cloud flows
- Troubleshoot and resolution of software bugs, data, and system configuration issues.
About You
Minimum essential requirements for the role:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Development and delivery of Dynamics 365
- CRM customisation using JavaScript
Desirable skills for the role:
- Microsoft Power Pages and Power Automate
- Capable of dealing directly with business users; working alongside testers to ensure that CAA software quality standards are met.
- Power BI development
- CRM extension through C# .Net development
- Experience of DevOps, Agile and the concepts of CI/CD Familiarity with ITIL concepts
- Knowledge and experience with D365 latest product offerings
Additional Information
For many appointments within the CAA, these roles require access to operationally sensitive infrastructure and/or Nationally Protected information. For these roles the post holders must undergo National Security Vetting and achieve the appropriate level of clearance.
SC - To be vetted we will usually expect a reasonable period of residency in the UK so that meaningful checks can be undertaken. For this role this will need to be 5 years.

Relocation & Property
The CAA will be relocating from Aviation House (Our Gatwick Office) to new premises in a few years’ time. Our move is driven by strategic, operational and environmental considerations.
We will be moving to a new local home, up to a 15-mile radius of Aviation House, to minimise disruption for our valued colleagues and customers.
We are now working with colleagues and visitors to understand what we need in our new office, before we start our property search. We will sell Aviation House and land, vacate the site and move to new premises, but we do not expect to move before 2028
