The Role

A great opportunity has arisen for a SQL Database Administrator to join our Information Services team. You will take a proactive lead ensuring efficiency and optimal performance of our  IT services and systems, focussing on the implementation, configuration and maintenance of SQL server based systems, ensuring availability and consistent performance of our applications, as well as providing recommendations for continued service improvement.


About you

We’re looking for a well established SQL who is  truly passionate about contributing, maintaining the performance, integrity and security of our databases.  If you thrive on using your initiative to prioritise your work, whilst remaining delivery focused this is the role for you. You’ll need to be a natural problem solver, regularly reviewing and feeding back on performance, and offering solutions. You will have an excellent knowledge of Excel and the ability to communicate at all levels.
