The Role

 

This is an exciting brand-new role with the purpose being to create a CAA resourcing strategy, aligning it to our current and future resourcing needs and reflecting our Diversity & Inclusion ambitions as we move towards a more flexible and agile workforce.   You will be responsible for ensuring we secure the right talent, with the right capability and aim to support our strategic ambitions. This role is instrumental in defining the sourcing, attraction and assessment strategies for Senior Hires, Experienced Hires and Graduate / Emerging Talent/Apprentices.

 

The role will be working closely with our Talent Acquisition consultants in the HR Delivery Team, Strategic People Partners and the Emerging Talent Lead.  You will partner with the business to understand the hiring needs and future capability needs, operating at a senior level to recommend appropriate routes to market and sourcing strategies, whilst acting as custodian of our external resourcing brand.

 

Other accountabilities include;

 

  • Define and drive through the implementation of the CAA resourcing strategy to meet our strategic capability needs.

 

  • Identify resourcing strategy trends and forecast future demand and the impact this will have on the CAA resourcing strategy.

 

  • Lead on implementing alternative sourcing methods (e.g. direction of strategic campaign thinking, specialist panels, outsourcing options) aligning to best practice.

 

  • Set overall direction for the creation of talent pipelines.

 

  • Introduce a consistent assessment and selection process across the organisation considering how they align with organisation culture and wider people assessments.  Explore the use of psychometric assessments where appropriate.

 

  • Collaborate and work closely with the Horizon team to ensure we are aligned to key resourcing priorities and future needs.

 

  • Lead on Exec and NED recruitment & market mapping for Exec and Key Role Succession.

 

  • Analyse and evaluate key analytics & market trends to aid decisions and inform strategy

 

  • Evaluate current talent acquisition processes and create an improved approach, collaborating with the TA team to turn strategy into operational delivery.

 

  • Strategic management of PSL

 

About You

 

The ideal candidate will bring a strong external network and experience across both the Senior & Experienced Hires, and Early Careers arenas, together with a demonstrated understanding of strategic resource planning, supplier and campaign management and social media recruitment.

 

 

Further proficiencies include:

 

  • Pushing talent acquisition change programmes from both a strategic and operative level
  • Highly organised and excellent communicator
  • Ability to be strategic and tactical when making decisions
  • Interpersonal and motivational skills; you should be capable of building relationships across the organisation. 
  • Increasing talent sourcing within the organisation by improving direct hiring 
  • Influencing employees at all levels to support your decisions and proposed plans

Additional Information
 

For many appointments within the CAA, these roles require access to operationally sensitive infrastructure and/or Nationally Protected information. For these roles the post holders must undergo National Security Vetting and achieve the appropriate level of clearance.

 

To be vetted we will usually expect a reasonable period of residency in the UK so that meaningful checks can be undertaken.
