The Role

 

One of the most important roles the CAA plays is to uphold standards and ensure the legal compliance of aviation entities, particularly in regard to their security operations. These entities include airports, airlines, and airfreight operators and are spread across the country. This involves overseeing, inspecting, testing, and auditing a wide variety of activities, processes, and procedures.

 

To this end, we are looking for a Schedule Administrator to join the Aviation Security Compliance (ASC) Group. Its main responsibility is to manage the job scheduling activity for the team by creating, assigning, and administrating job requisitions on our ERP system. Its purpose is to drive the efficient delivery of the function and enable a more agile day to day operation to be maintained. Additionally, you will be asked to create reports and schedules, as well as derive insight, that will provide transparency to the department and allow management to monitor any trends.

 

This role is perfect for someone who is motivated by operational delivery, problem solving, process improvement and data analysis. Anyone coming from a fast-paced scheduling, coordinating, analyst or administration-based background would make a strong fit for the role.

 

About You

 

  • Stakeholder management – A confident manner in dealing with people at all levels within CAA, industry, and related bodies.  Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Customer Service - Drives forward improvements in customer service, looking for ways to deliver them quickly to a wide and diverse set of customers
  • Data Analysis - Ability to produce and analyses complex data sets from multiple sources to identify trends with meticulous attention to detail
  • Quality Management - Knowledge and understanding of the implementation of management systems with experience implementing policies and procedures
  • Self-motivated and willing to work flexibly using own initiative, reaching sound judgment but able to identify when to refer to others.  Able to respond to changes in priorities and under pressure
  • Good working knowledge of standard IT packages and the ability to learn and utilize bespoke systems for the post concerned
  • Able to work collaboratively, with a flexible, adaptable work ethos, and particularly the ability to operate in a multi-discipline team

Additional Information
 

For many appointments within the CAA, these roles require access to operationally sensitive infrastructure and/or Nationally Protected information. For these roles the post holders must undergo National Security Vetting and achieve the appropriate level of clearance.

 

To be vetted we will usually expect a reasonable period of residency in the UK so that meaningful checks can be undertaken.
