CAA Reward and Benefits Package

The CAA can only deliver on our vision of aviation excellence with an engaged and happy team and so we take our approach to reward, recognition and benefits seriously. It is rewarding to know that our people feel strongly about their contribution to our shared vision. We offer everyone a competitive salary and much more in terms of benefits to recognise and reward their impact.

Here at the CAA we are committed to providing our colleagues with a varied reward and benefits package, which we have sourced on your behalf. Our aim is to provide benefits that are valued and appeal to a diverse range of lifestyles - after all, we have an incredible range of personal and professional backgrounds here at the CAA and are all motivated by different things. Offering colleague benefits is our way of showing you how invested we are, not only in your overall health, but also colleagues’ future.

  • Colleague & Life Style Benefits

Our benefits include Tax-Free Childcare, allowing colleagues to save on childcare costs, and My Giving, which provides a simple way to support charities of your choosing in a tax-efficient manner.
Additionally, we offer a discounted gym membership with Pure Gym, along with an onsite gym at Aviation House, promoting health and well-being for all colleagues.

  • Work-Life Balance

To support a positive work-life balance, we offer a range of benefits, including 28 days of annual leave with the option to purchase an additional 5 days per year. This increases to 30 days after 8 years of service and 33 days after 10 years of  service (full-time equivalent). Our family leave policies include maternity and adoption leave with up to 26 weeks' pay. We also provide flexible and hybrid working options to ensure a better balance for our colleagues.

  • Health and Wellbeing

We offer an Employee Assistance Program for confidential counselling and financial advice, along with a healthcare cash plan covering colleagues and their families for cashback on healthcare costs. A free Headspace membership is also provided to support focus, productivity, and well-being. Eyecare vouchers are available for those using VDUs, covering the cost of eye tests.

  • Pension Scheme

The pension provides a tax efficient way to save for retirement and at the CAA it is paid via salary sacrifice. By paying via salary sacrifice you reduce the amount of tax and NI you pay as the salary you are paid is reduced. As a  permanent or fixed term colleague you are automatically enrolled in the scheme. To benefit from the CAA’s contribution, you are required to sacrifice a minimum of 3% of your pensionable salary. Within limits the CAA matches the amount on a 2:1 basis. The maximum you can contribute is 6% and in this case the CAA’s contribution would be 12%.

  • Colleague Recognition Scheme

At the CAA, we value and celebrate our colleagues' contributions through a recognition scheme. Anyone can nominate a colleague for instant recognition, from thank-you e-cards to quarterly or annual awards.
